The inaugural event will take place at Olympic Marine’s Athens facilities in October.
The 1st Olympic Yacht Show will be held from October 1-4 at Olympic Marine’s newly renovated 680-berth marina in Sounio, Athens. The four-day event will focus specifically on medium and large-sized yachts of over 14m in length, making it the only event in Greece that is dedicated towards businesses active in this category.
According to the organisers, the industry’s leading companies will make their presence known both on land and at sea. A special area has also been designed to host luxury RIBs and premium day cruisers, offering visitors an opportunity to test the boats at sea.
Ondeck founder and director Gerasimos Gerolimatos has extensive experience in the field of megayachts and international events. Working in partnership with Olympic Marine, Gerolimatos expects the show to become a ‘think tank’ for business professionals and owners, linking them to the international market.
“The Olympic Yacht Show is a floating yacht show for the premium yacht category as well as businesses active in this multi-level niche,” Gerolimatos says. “It is the most popular yacht category with a wide scope and a dynamic course both in our country and internationally.”
More details of the event will be announced soon.
