CONGRATULATIONS to Quantum Racing for winning the Rolex TP52 World Championship Cascais 2018 regatta with a final flurry of a win, to fend off Azzurra’s title challenge.

With an excellent final execution in strong breezes off Cascais, Quantum Racing won the final race of the Rolex TP52 World Championship to secure their sixth world title since the class became ISAF/World Sailing recognised. Quantum Racing won the inaugural world championship in 2008 in Lanzarote, Spain.

They won the pin end start in the conclusive second race and were able to lead title rivals around the top mark, going on to win the Rolex TP52 World Championship by four points. Alegre take third place overall behind Azzurra.

A full round up the day, and of the entire regatta, will be made available shortly.
