Island Water World Grenada Sailing Week is one of the key events at the start of the Caribbean Sailing Association (CSA) regatta circuit for 2020. Participating in Grenada Sailing Week counts towards points for the Caribbean Sailing Association Travellers Trophy – an award for effort in travelling to ‘away regatta’s’ and for doing well in Caribbean events. Bernie Evan Wong who travels up and down the Caribbean participating in regatta’s says “Grenada Sailing Week is a really fun, friendly regatta, totally worth sailing the length of the Caribbean and back!”. The competition is building in all classes. Including CSA Classes with Pamela Baldwin, winner of last years CSA Travellers Trophy and ‘Liquid’ her J122 and Rob Butlers Reflex 38 ‘Touch2Play Racing’ who came 2nd and 3rd overall respectively in 2019. Other contenders fighting for top spot include Peter Morris and his Frers 43 ‘Jaguar’ and Norman Da-Costa with his Soveral 42 ‘C-Mos’.
If you don’t have your own boat, no problem. There are both skippered and non skippered charters available for our event. Compete against some of the best and party with them after.
